Q: What toxins will your products clean from my system?

A: Our products will clean ALL toxins from your system, and the program can be designed to target a specific toxin. (i.e. marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, etc.)

Q: Are there any legal substances that can create a "false positive" for illegal drug usage?

A: Here are some of the more often detected substances, which can affect drug testing:

  • Over-The-Counter Medications - Some medications contain high concentrations of decongestants that will produce a positive result for amphetamines. Appropriate confirmatory testing will detect when the drug is a decongestant or an amphetamine.

  • Poppy Seeds - Frequently found on bagels or other baked products, poppy seeds do contain sufficient amounts of morphine to sometimes produce a detectable test result. This can be resolved by using a test that will detect a substance in the urine that is only found in heroin.

  • Secondhand Marijuana Smoke - Passive inhalation of marijuana smoke is frequently claimed as a reason for a positive urine test. Yes, passive inhalation of marijuana smoke can be detected but studies show it is highly unlikely that a nonsmoking individual could unknowingly inhale sufficient smoke by passive inhalation to result in a high enough drug concentration in urine for detection at the cutoff of currently used urinalysis methods.

Q: What is the difference between "Crack" and Cocaine?

A: Cocaine is a local or topical anesthetic that stimulates the central nervous system. It can be "snorted" (inhaled through the nose), injected, or smoked by inhaling its vapors. Cocaine is sometimes called coke, toot, or nose candy. Crack is a very concentrated potent form of cocaine in its free-base form, and can only be smoked.

The effects of the drug begin within seconds after entering the user's system by any of these methods but the inhalation of vapors from crack cause the most rapid and intense onset. The user begins to perceive the effects within minutes and a brief but intense euphoric feeling of well-being usually reaches a peak within a few (15-20) minutes after usage. This is often followed by The onset of depression and a craving for more. This can cause the user to constantly try unsuccessfully to achieve the same original "rush" by doing additional amounts of the drug continuously.

Q: What are the signs of Cocaine or "Crack" use?

    A: List of possible signs:

  • Dilated pupils
  • Dry mouth
  • Runny nose and/or nosebleeds
  • Frequent lip-licking and chapped lips
  • Excessive restless activity
  • Lack of interest in food or sleep
  • Increased irritability
  • Argumentative
  • Nervous
  • Overly talkative while changing subjects rapidly
  • Chronic cold or sinus/nasal problems
  • Extreme sensitivity to loud noises
  • Paranoia
  • Evidence of paraphernalia such as glass vials & small bottles, glass pipes, white crystalline powder, razor blades, syringes, needle marks.

Q: What are the health risks of using "Crack" or Cocaine?

A: Cocaine over-stimulates the circulatory, respiratory, and central nervous system. Cocaine interferes with the natural chemical in the brain that stimulates and regulates the firing of nerve cells. It increases the Dopamine level, stimulating the pleasure center of the brain. Muscle spasms in the various parts of the body can occur. Over-stimulation of the nervous system can cause convulsions, which can lead to respiratory collapse and death. Long term crack users have also suffered permanent damage to their cerebral cortex, the part of the brain that is used to think. Lung disorders are also possible from the smoking of crack. Heart problems are common and infections occur more easily from injecting cocaine. Additives that are commonly added to Cocaine (referred to as "stepping on it") include talc, baby laxative, baking soda and even poisons. Some of these have been known to cause severe health problems and even death.

Q: What is the hair follicle?

A: The follicle is the tiny sack deep in the skin tissue from which the hair originates and grows.

  • Q: What is the hair root?

A: The root is the part of the hair just below the skin surface.

Q: What is the hair shaft?

A: The shaft is the exposed part of the hair above the skin surface.

Q:  How much hair is required for and how is it collected for the analysis?

A: Testing requires a swatch of hair about one eighth of an inch in diameter and an inch to an inch and a half from the scalp.  If the hair on your head is too short, samples are collected from other parts of the body.

Q: How far back into the past can hair analysis detect drug use?

A: Typically, hair testing detects any drug use within the last 90 days.  However, long time frames are possible.
